Hello friend,
All this week I’ve been working on these black and white line drawings that are a bit of flora and fauna with some sea creature and a dash of fantasy thrown in. I started thinking of them as “amorphous sea blobs,” only to find out that amorphous is the wrong word as it means “without a clearly defined shape or form.” These definitely have form even though it’s fantastical.
This seems like the perfect opportunity to say something really profound about lacking shape vs. defining shape and relate that to being laid off and trying to find a new form in my own business (more on this on my about page), but that really feels like a stretch in this amorphous blob of a moment.
Would love to hear what you think about the drawings and/or drop your own profound thoughts.
xo, Tanya
