Strawberry fields forever
Hello Friend,
This week is brought to you by the letter F, for fruits. Specifically strawberries, tangerines and lemons, three of my favorites.
There were a number of songs running through my head as I painted these - Watermelon Sugar by Harry Stiles (which also mentions strawberries), Strawberry Fields Forever by The Beatles, Tangerine by Led Zeppelin, and Beyonce’s new album, Cowboy Carter (which admittedly doesn’t mention fruit, but she also made the album Lemonade, so we’re going with it.)
I’m tempted to keep on painting fruits in patterns, as it’s very soothing to do more than one of a thing. It helps turn off the noise in my brain and lets me relax into the experience.
