Hi Friend,

I had so much fun making a pop art style portrait of my dog last week, that I continued to create more art using the same technique.

It’s summer here and even though I’m what’s known as a year-round ice cream enthusiast (official title, obviously), there is something that feels very summery about a cute looking ice cream cone.

To be honest, I would never order a cone like this - there’s no way I can eat it fast enough before it becomes a dripping, sticky mess. Plus, having to also eat the cone seems like a waste of valuable stomach space that could be filled with more ice cream. Even as a child, I treated the cone as merely a vessel, unceremoniously ditching it as soon as it was empty.

None of that matters here though, because both ice cream and cone are equally fun to paint.
