Hi Friend, Thank you to everyone who took the time to answer the poll questions in the last newsletter. Results shared below. But first, let’s talk about the art I made this week which was all done with painting and collage. It started with painting regular paper with swathes of color. This was fun and a bit messy and felt very much like a kids project.
I’m inspired! I’m going to share with my students how to make these two design ideas. We don’t have an art teacher, so I’m thinking of having them paint something in a similar manner that they can then incorporate into their computer animation project. Thank you for sharing!!!!
Art was my saviour at school. A sign of times long changed I suppose, that there's computer animation but no art teacher. It makes me sad for the kids though. Thanks for incorporating it into what you do. Feed the soul. x

Well, actually, and it's not really related to the hiring of the art teacher, I'm retiring at the end of the school year. Yea for me! And yea for you and for painting the cover of your novel!
